About University Of Ottawa Entrance & Excellence Scholarship:
The University of Ottawa is happy with the imbalance of students from other parts of the world. This Entrance and Excellence Scholarships: The average-based renewable scholarships are for students who are citizens of any country in Africa, as well as Indonesia, Vietnam or China; South Korea, India or Bangladesh and who want to study in an institution of higher learning and that’s only through the English language. They would wish for admission into the academic year 2024 fall semester (September session).
Thus, from the fall 2024 semester onwards, internationals learners form these countries ….. will be eligible to enjoy huge cuts in their tuition fee if they spend time at one of the offered undergraduate programs in English.
It does not only motivate the results you obtained before coming to University, but also every term of a full-time study at this university. The new scholarship will allow African students studying in English for reduced tuition costs to gain access to many unprecedented pilot programs making available a choice of three faculties.
Who Can Apply For University Of Ottawa Entrance & Excellence Scholarship?
To be eligible for these scholarships, international students must meet the following criteria:
- be a citizen of any country in Africa or one of the countries listed
- not enroll in the French immersion stream
- have a valid study permit when classes start
Scholarship Benefit
Scholarship amounts vary, depending on the admission average and the faculty offering the program. Recipients must start their program in September. Insofar as possible and to maximize diversity, each faculty will award the same number of scholarships.
How To Apply For University Of Ottawa Scholarships
- Excellence scholarships are awarded competitively to the top candidates with an admission average of 90% or higher who apply for admission by April 1, 2024 and whose admissions have been processed up to April 15, 2024.
- Candidates whose first choice is the University of Ottawa will be favoured.
- Recipients must start their program in September.
How to Apply:
- First the student has to apply here: https://www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-105/
- Then the University would receive the application and generate a Student Number which the prospective student would use to login to the school’s portal, UOZone, and then submit their results and documents for review.
- After a successful review, they will be offered a conditional admission offer which will include the scholarship depending on their average.
