Science International Scholarship:

• Scholarship Amount: $5000 Scholarship
• The scholarship money is given after students do their needed tasks, if they have them. This must happen on a set payment date when agreed upon beforehand and until now.
• UQ will give out the scholarship money after a certain student count date during the first part of study.
• The scholarship money is transferred into each winner’s bank account in Australia.

UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship:

To be eligible for the Queensland University Scholarship for International Students, applicants must meet the following criteria:

For the Science International Scholarship:

1. Needs to be accepted as a foreign student in Australia.
2. Need to give all needed papers by the scholarship deadline in order for UQ’s acceptance offer of an approved program.
3. Need to show good grades in studies for the UQ program application.
4. You need to join a course run by the University of Queensland’s Science School. It should last longer than one year (full-time).
5. They need to be signing up for their first term of learning at UQ.
6. People already at UQ and want to change programs can’t get these scholarships.
7. Students joining non-award, Study Abroad or Exchange programs cannot sign up.
8. People who get scholarships have to start their studies in the term mentioned by UQ. They need to finish all courses, let UQ share name and picture with degree program details. Also students must give a good review for use along with fitting image sharing too!

For the UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship:

1. Needs to have a least ATAR of 99.90 (or the same level qualification).
2. Needed to finish high school in either 2023 or 2021 (if taking a break from studies now).
3. Must meet one of the following criteria:

• Be an Australian citizen or have a permanent humanitarian visa in Australia;
• Or, they need to be an Australian Permanent Resident or a New Zealand Citizen. Alternatively this also accepts students from overseas who did the last 2 years school in Australia.

4. Should not have finished any college-level studies before, except what was part of high school education (for example advanced study programs).

5. You have to apply for a university spot using QTAC and choose UQ as your top choice by December 18, 2023.

6. Need to plan on signing up for a full-time course at UQ in 2024 (or later if postponing college place).

How to Get a Queensland University Scholarship?

For the Science International Scholarship:

• Sign up for an official UQ undergraduate or postgraduate course by using The University of Queensland’s application website.
• When you get a UQ Student ID Number and an offer, go to this link. There, you can fill out the Science International Scholarship application form online.
• Make sure you send your scholarship application by 5 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on the last date to apply for it.

For the UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship:

• Prepare your QTAC Application number.
