International Students are very much eligible for the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship. The award is available for Masters, Diploma, Bachelor and Undergraduate level programmm(s) in All Subject taught at the University of Auckland .The deadline date for the scholarship is NOV/APRIL of every year. Any discipline can be studied by anyone.

One of them can be presented, 50 Scholarships twice a year ( if the applicant starts with Semester1 or enters in seamstead two) as per your scholarship value for postgraduate students and undergraduates study. The Scholarship shall be a fee credit towards the first year’s tuition fees at The University of Auckland.

- International Students
Eligibility Criteria
- The target group consists of new international students who have received an offer with unconditional entry to undertake a Postgraduate Diploma or Masters (taught) at the University of Auckland and ELA student that has come conditional offers seeking admission for undergraduate degree program, studied only from secondary level abroad. In general, the candidates should have a GPE of 6.0 or higher in their givenegree.
- The selection criteria would be based on the candidate’s academic performance, his/her application letter and also the referee of an applicant. The selection committee may also consider the origin of a given place.
- We cannot select the students who are already studying at the University of Auckland or planned to enter a Research Masters programme. Second, it excludes undergraduate students from the University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College) as well as secondary-school leavers.
Application Procedure
Applications for scholarships typically open about six weeks prior to the end date. The application deadline for studies commencing February 2024 is 21 November 2023, whilst that for studies commencing July 2024, is 20 April 2024.
